Evolve Additive Solutions Expands Leadership Team with Go-To-Market Executive and Technology Expert

Minneapolis, MN (May 22, 2019)Evolve Additive Solutions today announced the appointment of two new executives. Andrew Copley to the position of EVP and Chief Revenue Officer and Rich Allen as VP Materials, Process and Imaging.  Copley will be responsible for developing and implementing our sales and go-to-market Strategy while Allen will drive STEP process technology and materials development for the companies new Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process (STEP) platform. 

“Since the $19M investment by LEGO and Stanley Black & Decker, we’ve advanced the technology significantly, added important technical staff and we now have our eye on our go-to-market opportunity,” said Steve Chillscyzn, CEO for Evolve Additive Solutions. “Adding an experienced, global sales and go to market executive to the leadership team is not only timely given our stage, but also critical as we are commercializing our technology into products. Andrew’s skill set spans many aspects of a go-to-market strategy and we are very excited that he has joined our organization.”

Copley is a proven C-Level global sales and general management executive with extensive industry experience in 2D printing, industrial inkjet and packaging. Most recently, Copley was at Xerox Corporation where he was President of their Graphic Communications business responsible for all the high-end digital production printing solutions.   His past leadership roles include Chief Commercial Officer, Precision Valve Corporation, Chief Operating Officer, Graphic Communications Group at Eastman Kodak and President, Americas at Kodak Polychrome Graphics (a joint venture between Sun Chemical and Eastman Kodak).  A native of England, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, from Leeds University, as well as, a diploma in Marketing from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Allen comes to Evolve with over 35 years of electrophotographic experience at Kodak, most recently with the NexPress which Evolve leverages as the imaging engine in the STEP platform.  He started in the Chemical Development group to develop toner and developer technology and then moved into an expanding electrophotographic systems development role.  Allen was responsible for several major materials projects, such as an in-house dip coated photoconductor and EP integration of oil-less fused toner made by an evaporative limited coalescence process.  Allen has been a “Chief Engineer” for successfully commercialized NexPress products, such as the NexPress SX product using a 5-color HD ink set, and the NEXFINITY platform featuring a 1200 dpi writing system. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Maine at Orono. Allen resides in the Rochester, NY office.
